Hoowdy Hashers,
I have no idea how many happy hashers turned up at 16 Dolby Court North Mackay, I was just glad I found my way without getting lost.
With a few confused runners wandering why the GM was wearing shoes and a sleeved shirt and even more surprised when he eagerly set off on the run. Of course Zorro headed straight to the Bowls Club whilst the rest of us continued on the well-marked run, under the bridge and over the bridge and then once again under the bridge and onwards through the ducks on our way around the goose ponds then back home.
All runners returning and settled with a drink and dips, of hot and creamy, bread or chips to choose from, very yummy.
The returning Smut whom has been missing in action for some time, called for the circle to be formed and everyone was so glad to have the return of what happened when. The run was given a good report, but the choir master has had enough of all these good reports and the shitty run song was sung and Knicker Licker drank his down down. There were at least 2 more for Knicker Licker but cannot remember what for, but he was happy to have a nibble of dip during the charge.
Returning runners were charged and Smut and Top Knot took their down downs. Zorro was charged for going to the pub and there were other charges but my memory fails me sorry. Jokes were told some good some not so good.
There were 2 achievement awards given out , one for Flaps for running heaps of times and Daffodil and running so many times they had to give him 2 awards. I am so sorry I don’t remember how many runs; I forgot I was writing the report and needed to take notes. Can someone reply to the run report and let us know the number of runs that were achieved Thanks?
The song was sung with Pensioner having a recruit singing his version of the song, one at a time Pench. After the circle we were served fried rice and curry chicken. The rice was delicious I stayed away from the curry as it is usually too hot for me but was told it was very nice. I did enjoy a piece of special brownies and quite a few had seconds. Not long after runners started heading home including myself as once again I have left retirement and needed my sleep.
