16 Hashers of questionable sanity assembled in the park during cold, wet and windy conditions expecting to follow a set trail around the Burbs 0f North Mackay for our weekly Monday hash run… Idiots!
After Harbour erected a hasty tarp to reduce our miserable conditions, the group, except the smart ones who stayed behind the shelter & near the booze, took off pretending to be heroes but all I heard about the run was that there was a piss stop. Pensioner supplied additional info by mentioning that the hash brew was a combination of the dregs from forgotten bottles of booze from the cupboard.
After a few drinks, some crackers and dips the monk destroyed the amicable conversations by prattling on about the NSW police force was first formed from convicts… “DUH nobody suspected that”! Followed by the usual charges, jokes, recognition of Daffodils 1900th Run and welcome back to PRICK. Nosh was served and attacked by hungry seagulls to be warmed by delicious warm food.
More drinks then PRICK started to Wilt, a bloody good effort under the conditions. I took him home so I have no further knowledge what was happening. (PS. Everyone else took off home too…atrocious conditions when the trap came down!)
