Spot on 20 hashers braved the cold and threatening rain. We were warmed by a fire or should I say firewood and an empty fire pit. We were all seated while Corgi lit the cauldron.
Eventually the pack left and for a short time were enjoying the experience but then there was very cold windy rain so they all came back. Meanwhile BloJo completely fucked up the fire which degenerated into a smoke hazard. Despite fanning the smoke with paper, all efforts proved fruitless with nature supplying rain to quell the smoke.

BloJo then rounded up all chairs and moved them under cover so We all sat down to festivities which included boiled potatoes. We were all enjoying the ambience when we were plunged into darkness when the power went out. We had just sorted out torches etc when it came back on. Rain cleared so everyone ventured back outside. Corgi then demonstrated to all how to get a roaring fire going using damp wood. Stand in Monk Lassie got the circle proceedings underway:
