A goodly number of Hashers arrived at the covered area next to the Botanical Gardens’s playgrounds as sun set on a clear evening: perfect run conditions.
Snot issued some ‘clear as mud’ run directions and everyone set off to complete a run of their choice. Once all had regathered and were happily sucking back the amber nectar and demolishing the snacks, a stand in monk was nominated by Insex. Blurry’s commanding voice and efficient handling of the responsibility meant the circle was clos-ed in record time considering there were several down-downs and jokes to moderate. Celebration updates and numbers were sorted before everyone settled back to the business of drinking, chatting, drinking, chatting, drinking…(When is the pizza coming?)
Pizza’s arrived! Pizza Hut to the rescue! Boxes opened, spread across table for easy access, paper towel at the ready, hungry Hashers swooped…and then it was gone.
Successful Committee run in the bag.
