Run -2281
Hare – Golly
Venue – Playground on Willets Road, North Mackay
Hashers: 20
**Event Summary:**
The Mackay Hash House Harriers hosted a legendary run that will go down in the annals of hashing history. The committee, in a stroke of genius, declared the run and dinner absolutely free, causing a surge of excitement that could be felt all the way to the Outback.
**Culinary Delights:**
– Nikka Licker’s homemade sausage rolls were the talk of the town, with whispers saying they could bring peace to rival hash chapters.
– The homemade tomato chilli dipping sauce had folks breathing fire, but in the best way possible.
– Matches’ caramelised onion dip was so good, it nearly caused a diplomatic incident when the recipe was not disclosed.
**Circle Antics:**
– Golly, charged with setting the run, led the pack on a wild goose chase, literally.
– Screw, living up to the name, took everyone down a false trail, sparking rumours of a secret vendetta against compasses.
– A virgin runner was charged, initiating them into the fine tradition of hashing misdirection.
– Jokes flew thick and fast, some soaring like eagles, others… well, let’s just say they didn’t quite take off.
**Culinary Encore:**
As if the homemade treats weren’t enough, the evening concluded with free pizza, because why not? When in doubt, pizza is the answer.
**Next Week’s Teaser:**
The next run is set to take place at Shocker’s Place in Erakala. Expectations are high; will there be French food, or will Shocker shock us all with a sausage on bread?
**On On!**
May the trails be ever in your favour, and may the hash gods bless you with good weather and better company. Onwards to the next adventure!
