Run #2286

Date – 05/08/2024
Run – 2286
Hare – Smut
Venue – 20 Royal Boulevard, Glenella
Hashers: 22

21 Brave Hashers arrived at the residence of our illustrious Monk, Smut, to take on the rain and the Monday Hash adventure.

Instructions were given regarding the markings, and off we went. I kept in close proximity to the ladies because they had umbrellas in case it rained. On a  well-marked trail through the streets of Glenella we trundled, till we came across the hare dishing out fruity-fizzy drinks at the piss stop. After slating our thirst, we headed back home where we had the traditional smoking ceremony and welcome to country. Thankfully Miss Corgy was on duty regarding the fire, and with much coaxing and blowing, the fire stopped smoking and started burning, Ye Ha!

The circle was called, and the compulsory history lesson was presented by Smut. After that charges were given to the deserved, including a self-charge (never seen that b4) given to himself by Pensioner for spitting the dummy at the previous weeks executive lunch. Awards for Lassie, 400 runs??, and Golly 600 runs were presented, along with a Hashy Birthday award to Tarzan for getting older. Returning runner ½ a boat, was given a drink and other important stuff happened, but my focus started drifting and can’t recall. The hash song was sung, and the circle closed.

Then from inside the house, Smut started bringing out the Hash nosh, and the crew attacked the tucker with gusto. Three different dishes were presented for our tasting, that had healthy ingredients, and they were all very good.

After the tucker, more refreshments were guzzled to the point where the esky was looking very bare.

Bellies full, bodies relaxed and minds refreshed, we all started drifting off home. A good night without rain…….excellent.

I want you all to pray to your different gods to keep next Monday night free of rain, caus the Hash will be from my place, on the corner of Peel n Alfred St, and I have no wet weather cover.

I’ll see you all there. (I hope)

Bleary or Blurry.
