#Run 2370

Run Date: 2/03/2026
Run No: 2370
Hare: Tonguer
Venue: 12 Hill End Rd, Glenella
Hashers: 16 or 17 + 2 little Hashers

We were the last Hashers to arrive at Tonguer’s place to see an RACQ vehicle with lights flashing was parked at the entrance to his driveway. Wondering who was in trouble we later found out somebody (Snot) had locked the keys in their car.

Run instructions were given and we headed off along Hill End Road to Davey Street under the overpass, around the streets, water ways and drains to arrive at the park on Smuts street for a Hash Halt. Corgi and U-Turn mentioned the dead fish on the side of the pond on Northview Gardens coming up to the Northview Park. They weren’t smelling yet. It was on home along Bradman Drive and back out onto Davey Street, past the hall and we were ready for our first beer. But no, the Hash Piss car was locked. Termite eventually arrived and apologised for he had left it opened but cars these days automatically lock if unattended. A down down for Termite not knowing this.

Smut started the circle with history lesson on wine consumption. Was it America that consumed the most by volume? Portugal No 1, most wine consumed Per capita, 61.1 litres, Australia No 11, 24.5 liters? and now wine consumption is less by the public. Cost of living getting too high?. A few charges were given and jokes were told.  Corgi was charged by Zorro after getting excited after giving an explicit description of a cow she had milked earlier in the day to get milk for the new born calf which the cow had rejected. Termite for thinking he had left the piss car unlocked for the front runners. Tonguer was charged by Snot for not having any nibblies.  The hash song was sung and Wendy brought out the chicken bake which hungry hashers devoured followed by Bread & Butter Pudding with custard which was enjoyed by all. Well marked run and good company again. Thanks Tonguer & Wendy.

On On Daffodil & Corgi.

Next Weeks Run is from Col Story Park, City Gates
