A keen bunch of hashers gathered at Settlers Rise Park in anticipation of one of Shockers famous runs exploring new Erakala real estate developments only to be sadly disappointed with a live hare stroll around the established section of Settlers Rise. Shocker claimed Easter fathering duties as his excuse for working below his usual lofty trail setting standards.
At run completion, proceedings relocated to Shockers abode on Sunset Drive where nearly 20 hashers were found unashamedly delving into the esky in the back of Golly’s vehicle while fighting with the swing-open rear door. Eventually, a bit of common-sense prevailed and a door prop was found.
With the circle called, the errant door situation drew a number of charges including Golly and Tonto. Pensioner contributed heartily to the joke session and the Trail Master sought unsuccessfully to challenge the GM on short-circuiting the decision for the location of the up-cumming Celebration Run.
With the circle closed, Shocker served up a hearty main meal and in keeping with Easter tradition, provided a dessert of Easter eggs, shamelessly torn from the hands of his small children.
