Another top evening at Royal Boulevard; perfect weather, happy Hashers, returning runners, birthdays to celebrate, fine food…
The run was set with 3 options. A piss stop was the carrot for completing the full 3 km (option 3). Smut’s marking efforts had mixed results. Pack leaders missed a vital turn so made their own way ‘home’ and a legitimate short cutter (option 2) claimed to have followed an ‘On Home’ the Hare denied marking!
The monk/hare started the circle with stats on aging. The fact 60-80 year olds report the most happiness in life is the only one that stuck in my head, unfortunately. Down-downs, jokes, returning runners, Hashy business were taken care of efficiently so important Hashy Birthdays could be celebrated. Lassie’s entered a new era, Prick’s still going strong, and globing trotting, still working Harbour didn’t make it to collect his chockies in person. Oh well.
Satisfying main meal and more-ish chocolate muffins were enjoyed by all. Thanks Smut and Rita!
