Run Date: 11th February
Run No #2006
Hare: Zorro
Venue: Mackay Fencing, 70 Satellite Crescent Mackay Harbour
Hashers: 27
Just shy of 30 eager hashers gathered at the gate of the best fencing supply company in the region. The horn blew at 6.11pm sharp as the usual bullshit misleading directions were delivered by the hare of the century. Then they were off into the sunset and were quickly told go the other way. So many perfect arrows were followed until the group led by Hash Horn stumbled across a Check! the leader of the pack was not deterred and correctly guessed on left. Pretty impressive considering he was with JCF who would pick the wrong direction even if he was told which way to go.
Over road and railway and on on to the North Harbour Wall before the best hare of all time called out False Trail! Grumbles and moans from the pack who were disappointed that after such a marathon trail no piss stop was to happen. Some even commented this was an A to B run without transport! Well it was, back we went but not before a short cut down the railway line (for some) took out a few extra kilometres. A quick final hurdle in the form of a fence saw the tam back in just on an hour.
The mozzie families saw all the commotion and invited themselves and the entire mozzie world over as their were plenty of unpickled people to draw blood from. However as usual we got on with business run by new Monk Tarzan! Charges and jokes as usual and the hare of hares took his punishment for such a short trail. Some business happened but no one listened especially the writer because he didn’t care to listen. Im sure the GM will punish the writer at next weeks run!
Food was served. Bacon, egg and steak rolls with some rabbit food and the mob was set.
On a scale of 1 to 10 this evening was certainly a 15. Bloody good effort from the hare to end all hares
Until next week
